Detachable conical anchor (carrot anchor) is generally used in single-sided wall formworks, climbing formworks and tunnel formworks.

AREAS OF USE

This system is widely preferred in dam and hydroelectric power plant projects, viaduct and bridge constructions and retaining walls of multi-storey buildings.

The removable conical anchor is also used as a lifting element. It is frequently preferred in concrete lifting operations together with the eye bolt. (For example: highway barriers, factory-type precast concretes, rope tensioning applications)

ECONOMIC AND PRACTICAL SOLUTION

This product, known as the "Carrot Dowel" in construction sites, is quite economical thanks to its removable feature. Dowels must be lubricated for easy removal. In places where concrete strength is high, wrapping them with a material such as stretch film or nylon after the lubrication process prevents the product from sinking into the concrete and makes removal easier.
